Once upon a time, a girl and her beloved pet dog were swept away to a magical land by a tornado.

With a witch's silver slippers upon her feet, the girl set out for a city of emeralds to meet a great wizard and ask him to send her home.

Along the way she made some unusual friends who joined her on her journey as they too had requests to make of the great wizard.

The path may have been fraught with many trials, but eventually the small party made their way to the city of emeralds and their wishes granted by the great wizard.

You may think you know how the story ends, but what if the girl hadn't felt that there was 'no place like home'...?

The Girl with No Memories

The heroine of the story. She has no memories from before she awoke, not even of her own name. Famiglia Oz takes her in, saving her from a sword-waving man. She's a cheerful, optimistic girl who's honest to a fault.

”I'm Fuka. Famiglia Oz is taking care of me. I'm very good at doing laundry, but... that's about it. But I'm not giving up! Thanks for listening!”

The Taciturn Tin Woodsman

The brusque caporegime of famiglia Oz. Generally speaking, he lacks personal interests and would prefer to follow orders rather than act on his own initiative. He carries a shotgun, but he's more likely to swing it as club than to actually pull its trigger.

“I am Axel, caporegime of famiglia Oz. I have nothing else to say to you.”
"...There's no way they actually have work on a Saturday evening. It was just an excuse. I'm sure they just ran off to go drinking or something..."
"...Never mind. I have no interest in romance, nor any intention of smiling just to entice women."
"...Huh. Fuka, I have something I'd like to ask you... may I?"

The Courageous Lion

The don of famiglia Oz. Kind and magnanimous, he's beloved by the townspeople. He invites our hapless protagonist to live at the Oz estate. He carries two pistols, but his greatest weapon is the undying loyalty of his subordinates.

“I’m Caramia, don of famiglia Oz. I’m no good with formalities, so don’t worry about it too much. Just relax and enjoy yourself.”
"Quite the troublemaker, isn't he? Well, I guess he's always like this. ...Kyrie, I'll let you take care of the signorina."
"Ooh, grazie! You're so generous, Axel, unlike a certain stingy consigliere."
"Eating something you like to alleviate stress isn't a terrible idea, but you should come talk to your big brother before all your blood turns into chocolate. I'll listen to whatever you have to say, okay?"

The Sly Scarecrow

The consigliere of famiglia Oz. Don't let his gentle demeanor fool you; he's a calculating man with a heart black as soot. He is universally recognized as a sadist. While he’s a crack shot with anything he puts his hands to, he prefers not to dirty his own hands if at all possible, especially when others are so easily manipulated.

“My name is Kyrie. I am the consigliere of famiglia Oz. I absolutely detest troublesome things, so please don’t ask too much of me.”
"What a coincidence, mine too. Well, it's not too late. Should I shoot him, say, three times in the abdomen then take him to the clinic?"
"Oh, I'm so sorry. A certain stingy consigliere seems to have stepped on a certain idiot lion's foot."
"Oh, my, please do tell me all about this embarrassing story starring Ms. Fuka."

Little Red Sniper-Hood

One of famiglia Grimm's caporegimes. He's level-headed, polite, and conscientious. He has no interest in the constant conflicts, and would prefer to solve disputes with words rather than combat. The sniper rifle he always carries on his shoulder never seems to see use. In fact, it seems to weigh him down in ways far beyond its size...

“I’m Scarlet, one of famiglia Grimm’s caporegimes and acting don. I’m not a fan of conflict, so try not to get into too much trouble.”
"Because I'm worried about you. Also... maybe you are hurt."
"Well, that's good. Um... hasn't Kyrie always been pretty awful? I think it's a little late to be complaining about that."
"What a casual answer... Ms. Fuka, I'm worried you're just going to pick at random."

The Optimistic Brother

One of famiglia Grimm's caporegimes and Gretel's twin brother. He's belligerent and an extreme optimist who will take anything but total failure as encouragement. In a fight, he’ll throw sticks of dynamite left and right.

“The name’s Hansel! I’m one of famiglia Grimm’s caporegimes. It’s much more fun to spend your days laughing and smiling, right? It’s been nice meetin’ ya!”

The Pessimistic Sister

One of famiglia Grimm's caporegimes. She's an extreme pessimist, spiteful with a fierce persecution complex and a razor-sharp tongue. Like her brother Hansel, she's quick to start a fight. Her clothes and satchel are stuffed full of hand grenades.

“My name is Gretel. What do you want with my personal information ? I won’t let you get away with this. I’ll curse you for three days and three nights and then jam a message in a bottle down your throat and send you up the river.”

The One-Eyed Piper

The don of famiglia Grimm. He's a bit of a playboy, but his big heart makes him beloved by his subordinates. Scarlet often scolded him for his inattentiveness. For certain reasons he is presently not with his famiglia.

“It's Hamelin. I'm the don of famiglia Grimm. What else do I have to say...? Hmm... nothing in particular, I guess. I can't wait to meet you.”

The Pure-Hearted Pacifist

A member of the Wolf Gang and Caesar's right-hand man. A strange companion to the scary Caesar, he's a kind, cheerful, and affable young man. He sets up shop in the center of town on the weekends, running a café so he can share the joy of cooking with everyone else.

“I’m Soh! I help out Mr. Caeser of the Wolf Gang. I run a food stand on the weekend. I’ll be waiting, so you better come!”
"I'm thinking about it. But I guess I'm thinking about you more, Fuka."
"Sweets are the best treatment for a bad attitude. The heavenly flavor just puts you in kind mood."
"Come on, I won't tell anyone. Tell me!"

The Big Bad Wolf

The leader of the band of outlaws, the Wolf Gang. Cruel and cunning, he has no qualms about hurting people with his two swords. He's the first one to discover our heroine, and is very persistent about capturing her.

“I’m Caesar. The Wolf Gang? That’s just what my subordinates started calling themselves. I couldn’t care less about it.”
“You are my… my prey.”
"I have him. It's not an issue."
"Then I won't be able to do anything to you. I'll join your pathetic self then."

The Stern Puss in Boots

The don of famiglia Boots. A knight with a strong sense of justice, she's stern and serious about everything. She leads her famiglia as a disciplined army. The sword she wears at her waist is just like her: steely, keen, and unyielding.

“My name is Pashet. I am the don of famiglia Boots. I do not suffer those who violate the rule of law. You’d best behave, unless you’d like to get a taste of my blade.”
"What a ridiculous notion. She's your ward. You should talk to her."
"I'd like to inquire about your destructive activities. For some reason you haven't attacked our territory as of late, even though we stand ready to receive your attacks at a moment's notice."
"Yes. Don't worry, I'll take a spare sword. I'll protect you, so... please."

Robin Hood

The Masked Doctor

He's the town's only doctor, running Sherwood Clinic for the benefit of the people. Contrary to his mysterious appearance, he's a rather simple man. He treats everyone equally, regardless of famiglia affiliation or social status. He rarely goes out into town except on house calls, eschewing personal entertainments to remain at the clinic.

“I’m Robin Hood. The best and only doctor in town. Don’t hesitate to drop by if you’re feeling unwell. You’d rather get better sooner, right?”
"Hey, don't move so quickly. You'll reopen your wounds."
"Take better care of yourself, alright?"

Dorian Gray

The Hedonistic Proprietor

Manager of the brothel on Oscar Wilde Street. An elegant and decidedly 'adult' man, he values pleasure above all else and lives only for the present. As the custodian of the town church, he also acts as a priest.

“I am Dorian Gray, the owner of the brothel. I wish you well until we meet again, my lovely.”

The Happy Masochistic Prince

The most popular male prostitute at the brothel, Oscar Wilde. He has a beauty that enthralls both men and women alike. He's a natural-born masochist, but as a service-minded fellow, he’s equally capable at sadism should the client ask. While he has absolutely no skills outside the bedroom, he’d gladly risk his life to protect his friends.

“I’m Alfani. I work at the brothel. Hey, so, what do you like better, bullying people or being bullied?”

The Devoted Sparrow

The concierge of the brothel Oscar Wilde. Faithful and sincere, he has the full confidence of Dorian Gray, caring for the proprietor’s affairs whether they be financial, personal, or deadly.

”I am Manboy. I am a humble employee of the salon. I am honored that you came to see me, but, um… It’s a bit complicated.”
